Gifu Park, at the foot of Mount Kinka where Gifu Castle stands, and Shobo-ji Temple, home to the Great Buddha of Gifu, one of the Three Great Buddhas of Japan, serve as the stage for this event. In addition to illuminations using the light of Gifu Japanese umbrellas and Gifu lanterns, both nationally designated traditional crafts, projection mapping inspired by Gifu City's unique traditional culture, including Nagara River cormorant fishing (ukai), its clear waters, and folding-screen paintings, is projected onto features such as the garden rock walls of the Ruins of Oda Nobunaga's Palace Residence, the site of Lord Oda Nobunaga's mansion, creating a fantastical world.
Please enjoy this fantastical night woven together by Gifu City's traditional crafts and light,
projection mapping, and a sea of clouds.
* The event will be held rain or shine, but projections may be canceled in severe weather.
* The same show can be enjoyed at any time slot.
* Entry may be temporarily restricted depending on crowd levels, and the program is subject to change.

From JR Gifu Station or Meitetsu Gifu Station, take a Gifu Bus bound for Nagarabashi, or take the City Loop Line (counterclockwise), for about 15 minutes. Get off at the "Gifu Park/Gifu Castle" bus stop; the park is right there.

About 20 minutes from the Gifu-Kakamigahara IC on the Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway, or about 15 minutes from the Gifu IC on the Tokai-Kanjo Expressway, to the Gifu Park parking lot.
